My passion for dogs has been a lifelong journey. As a dedicated hobby breeder, I've found immense happiness and therapeutic fulfillment in this path. I established The Poodle Lounge as a sanctuary to celebrate the elegance and intelligence of this remarkable breed. My goal is to produce puppies prioritizing health and temperament, bringing joy to families with our carefully raised pups.
Growing up in the Caribbean, I spent countless hours playing with our dogs while other kids played games. When asked what I wanted to be, I always said, "a veterinarian." However, my dream shifted when my beloved dog was mauled by a neighbor's vicious dog. Watching my best furry friend suffer was heartbreaking, and I realized I didn't have the stomach for veterinary work. From that moment, I dreamed of living on a farm with 1,000 dogs to play with. While I don't live on a farm, nor do I have 1,000 dogs 😅 (thankfully, as they are a lot of work!), my little doggy family brings me immense joy. So imagine how excited I was when I learned that my 5 year old shared my love, passion and adoration for doggies as much as I do! My sweet girl has delivered our puppies (LITERALLY  OPEN THE SAC, HELP MOM CLEAN THE PUPS, CUT AND TIE THE UMBILICAL CORD, BOTTLE FEED AND RAISE THEM ALL UNTIL THEY'RE READY FOR THEIR NEW HOMES). Not only has it been a remarkable learning experience for her but also quality bonding time for us as mother and daughter doing what we love together!
This journey, from that island girl to the breeder I am today, is fueled by love and a commitment to ethical and responsible breeding. Our dogs are more than pets; they are family, raised alongside our family in a nurturing environment.
